Terms and conditions

  1. GOAL OF THE EVENT
    1. To popularize and promote running as the simplest form of physical activity.
    2. To promote the sponsors brands as the National Running Cup title sponsor.
  2. THE ORGANISER OF THE NATIONAL RUNNING CUP

National Running Cup is organised by Far-Med Polec spółka jawna with a registered office at 31-982 Krakow, Śliwkowa Street 4, VAT ID no. 6492152887, REGON no. 240059823, entered into the register of entrepreneurs by the District Court for Krakow, XIII Commercial Division of the National Court Registry, KRS no. 0000330999 (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Organiser’).

Personal Data collected as part of the organizational tasks associated with National Running Cup, in line with the Personal Data Protection Act of 29 August 1997 (Dz. U. 2002, No. 101, item 927, as amended), shall be administrated by Far-Med Polec spółka jawna with a registered office at 31-982 Kraków, Śliwkowa 4 Street, in line with article 31 of the above act and on the basis of a mutual agreement the tasks of personal data processing is bestowed upon the Organiser to make possible the organisation of National Running Cup.

Disclosure of personal data is voluntary, albeit necessary to take part in National Running Cup as stated in the event’s Terms and Conditions. Individuals who chose to disclose their personal data have the right to access said data and amend it, as well as withdraw their agreement for the processing of personal data at any time. The Organiser may process personal data for the needs of organising National Running Cup, including actions conducted in cooperation with other entities, to an extent that will ensure satisfactory organisation of the National Running Cup.

To organize the National Running Cup competition, organizer has decided to appoint an Organizing Committee, responsible for all the actions needed the  National Running Cup to happen.

 

  1. DATE AND VENUE
    1. The National Running Cup shall be held from 31st October 2016 to 6th November 2016.
    2. Only Participants who have registered for the National Running Cup in accordance with the below Terms and Conditions may take part in the National Running Cup.
    3. The Organiser reserves the right to change the date of the National Running Cup, but in such cases takes it upon himself to inform Participants about the change via the Website no later than one week before the scheduled start of the event. Making the abovementioned change does not lead to the Organiser having to additionally compensate Participants.
    4. Distance of the course: 5 km.
    5. The Participants time and distance shall be measured automatically with the use of Android Application installed by Participants on mobile phones with Android system.
  2. TIME LIMIT AND CONTROLS
    1. Participants are required to finish the National Running Cup in the maximum time of 01h:00min:00s, counting from the pressing start button in the mobile application.
  3. PARTICIPATION
    1. The event will be open. In order to take part in the National Running Cup, Participants have to be at least 16 years of age as of 1st October 2016.
    2. The Participants take part in the National Running Cup of the course settles themselves.
    3. In order to take part in the National Running Cup, the Participant shall:
      1. Fill in the application form.
      2. Install the special mobile application National Running Cup on their Mobile phones.
      3. Participants take part in the National Running Cup on their own responsibility, being fully aware of any threats and dangers connected with the nature of the event, which may include risks to their health and life. Only persons in good health and with no medical contraindications to their participation in the event may take part in the National Running Cup.
      4. Agree to the processing of the Participant’s personal data included in the application form as mentioned above, including the Participant's statement about the state of health allowing them to participate in National Running Cup, as well as to the use of such personal data, as their name, surname, sex, birth year and nationality, e-mail, and image in any TV, radio, Internet and printed materials, and to receive information and questionnaires concerning National Running Cup sent by the Organiser to the Participants’ e-mail addresses and information regarding the promotion and marketing of sponsors products and services. The Participant's personal data may be passed by the Organiser to entities cooperating with the administrator of personal data and the Organiser in preparation of National Running Cup and the accompanying events, based on contracts on authorising such other entity to process personal data, pursuant to Article 31 of the Polish Act of 29 August 1997 on protection of personal data (Dz.U. 2002, No. 101, item 926, as amended).
      5. Agree to the use of their image in the form of a photograph or a video recording free of charge. The Participant shall grant the personal data Administrator a non-exclusive, worldwide, 5-year licence to use his/her recorded image within the following fields of use:
        1. Recording and multiplication of such image with the use of any known technique, and its distribution in any form,
        2. Making copies of such recorded images available to the sponsors and official partners, for the purpose of promoting the sponsor or official partner within the context of their participation in the National Running Cup event,
        3. Copying such images to computer memory and into a multimedia network,
        4. Multiplication of the recorded image,
        5. Public display, screening, reproduction, broadcasting and rebroadcasting of such images, as well as making them publicly available in a form that makes it possible for everyone to have access to such images from any place and at a time of their choice,
        6. Posting and publishing the recorded image on Internet sites, in the press, on posters and billboards,
        7. Broadcast of the recorded image in any TV and radio coverage,
        8. Publishing photographs of the National Running Cup Participants taken during the National Running Cup (links to photographs and videos will be placed beside the Participants’ names).
      6. Submit his/her application in line with the rules specified in point 7 of these Terms and Conditions.
    4. The Organiser reserves the right to grant sub-licences for the use of the recorded image specified above to official partners and sponsors of the event, the scope of which may not exceed the licence granted to the Organiser.
    5. Participants shall respect public order and respect other Participants in the National Running Cup.
  4. APPLICATION PROCEDURE
    1. Applications shall be accepted via the application form available on the Website.
    2. Applications may be submitted through the Website until 6 November 2016.
    3. The application procedure shall be completed upon registration in the application system for the National Running Cup.
  5. CLASSIFICATION
    1. In the National Running Cup shall be classified under the following categories:
      1. National team OPEN category
      2. National team on continent OPEN category
      3. Continent OPEN category
      4. Producers (shoes maker brand name)
      5. Teams
      6. Age categories for men and women: 16-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over by nationalities, continents, shoes brand name will be evaluable to 10 day after closing date.
    2. The classification shall be based on electronic time and distance measurement recorded by Android Application installed on the Participants mobile phone  and record on the server.
    3. The minimum finishers of the National Running Cup from one Country must be 100.
    4. The minimum finishers of the National Running Cup in producer classification must be 100 by brand name.
    5. The minimum finishers of the National Running Cup from one team must be 15.
  6. PRIZES
    1. The Organiser does not foresee prizes.
  7. FINANCING
    1. The Participants shall be exempt from starting fees.
    2. The Organiser informs that local GSM provider can charge for GPRS transmission according to local payment rules. Size of sending information about 10kb.
  8. FINAL PROVISIONS
    1. The Organiser shall not provide medical care during the National Running Cup competition.
    2. All Participants shall not be insured against accidents for the time of the National Running Cup, under general rules. Participants have to purchase insurance coverage on their own.
    3. It shall be specifically forbidden to move around during the National Running Cup by riding a bicycle, in a wheelchair (excluding Participants taking part in the National Running Cup using “handbikes”), by roller skating, skateboarding and by riding any other mechanical devices). The use of Nordic Walking type trekking poles shall also be forbidden.
    4. Any complaints should be submitted to the Organisation Office at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. no later than 24 hours after the end of the National Running Cup. All complaints shall be resolved by a Commission appointed by the Organising Committee and its decisions shall be final. The complaints shall be resolved within 3 days and after the lapse of this time the Marathon results shall become official.
    5. During the National Running Cup all Participants shall have to their mobile application running.
    6. The Organiser shall not be responsible for the Participants' belongings lost during the National Running Cup.
    7. The Organiser shall not be liable for any possible damages made by Participants as a result of their participation in the National Running Cup and shall not be responsible for rectifying such damages.
    8. The Organising Committee reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions, unless such a change would serve to disadvantage the Participants, especially through limiting the rights acquired through these Terms and Conditions. Any changes will be valid from the date of being published on the Website.
